This component is build for letting the user change his password. But.. wait it is more ! This component also sets the password last changed date for usage of the module Expire password. You want more ???? You get more !!!!!!! It also lets you set how strong the password has to be. 1. You can set if the password has to be checked on its strength. 2. You can set the lenght of the password (minimum 6 / maximum 10 characters). 3. You can set the minimum usage of : * one number; * one lowercase character; * one uppercase character; * one special character. 4. You can let the component check if the users doesn't use the same password (new simular to current). 5. You can set the type of alert. (text in page or popup alert or both) 6. You can show a strongbox, so the visitor can see if his password is getting stronger. 7. You can even let the visitor auto generate his own password. 8. You can even let the visitor let him change his Email-address / Username and Name (choice is seperate) 9. And ... last but not least... you can add your own language files (by uploading it into the language dir). So... what doesn't it do ? When registering new visitors... you can not use the password strenght component. Maybe... I'll look into that later.
